To bring this back to the book, it resonates so deeply with my experience that I am very literally brought to tears by scenes like this - the absolute heartbreak of someone hating themself for never seeming to be enough.

Just finished reading @adhd-alien.bsky.social 's book and I feel so seen! I don't have ADHD myself (although I got very close to a diagnosis) but a lot of this stuff also applies to autism. Thank you, Pina, for making this book! I can use this to communicate stuff to people! ❤️

Today I got my pre-ordered copy of "Feeling like an ADHD Alien" by @adhd-alien.bsky.social. I read it cover to cover in one sitting and it's amazing. I love Pina's work in the same way I love the work of Schultz & Watterson. Kiki is such a sweet, endearing character. She fosters an immediate sense of familiarity & affection, which naturally helps immensely in a work like this! I absolutely love these frames from chapter 1! ☺️❤️ #adhd #adhdalien

Finally got my copy of Feeling Like an ADHD Alien. As someone diagnosed with ADHD at 7 years old and being a fan of Pina's work for a LONG time. Its nice to finally have a book that helps discuss my eccentricities. Thank you @adhd-alien.bsky.social and the art is downright amazing.

After following @adhd-alien.bsky.social for about 4 years now I'm overjoyed to finally have the opportunity to read her long awaited graphic novel, which as irony would have it had actually arrived at my place days ago only for me to just find out today when I noticed no one bothered to pick up

This morning I got my copy of @adhd-alien.bsky.social 's Feeling Like an ADHD Alien. I'm already a hundred pages in and alternating between crying and running upstairs to show my husband pages that explain my brain better than I've ever been able to. 💙

I made way more sketches for the cover of my book than I remember doing lol. Here's a bunch of them! I love the final cover, but I someday want to finish version F, I LOVE that image (You can get the book at linktr.ee/adhdalien/ )

I feel like @adhd-alien.bsky.social book would be really good for public and/or school libraries. Could help a bunch of kids and teens put a name to their brain operating differently from their peers. I was always horrible with homework myself, because I would forget it existed when home.

@adhd-alien.bsky.social has written/drawn an amazing book, which left me crying in many places at how beautiful it is and how seen I felt while not leaving me feeling left out when my own experience has been different. This is a book that I think a lot of people would benefit from reading. 5 stars.
