tisire was definitely made to rest immediately which she didn't really have the capacity to fight at that point. everyone else was already really weary about the mere concept of Tisire going to Garlemald so they were already on edge for him

Fucking Christ alive. This is fucking horrific. Like the dude was obviously a fabulist and probably a plagiarist but SO ARE ALL FUCKING ACADEMICS. He was also still a vulnerable, autistic Black man and the entire campaign against him was motivated by racism. All these things can be true.

kind of half and half? tisire started life as a dnd character that i envisioned as a mage/rogue type. i just ended up really liking dark knight, both mechanically and lore wise, and REALLY enjoyed the implications of tisire switching to it in-character.

tisire was born on the azim steppe to a dotharl father and an orl mother. unfortunately owing to the rest of tisire's backstory he remembers very little of his childhood. she does learn more about her birth family during a personal mini-arc in post-dt though.

honestly underrated that the sequence of stormblood>shadowbringers>endwalker gave us "oh this very small steppe tribe has extremely specific views on reincarnation and the afterlife that strongly contradict doman and eorzean beliefs" snowballing into "it's the most accurate metaphysical belief"

Last night my friend finished the dawntrail post-game cutscene where Lamaty'i beats the fuck out of a forcefield, and after I spent 2 hours faffing with an illustrator file, I just entered a flow state to cool down with these. Lamaty'i you will always be famous to me.
