"Racism was bad, but it's in the past" was the rhetoric of my teachers and superiors. Only a child could believe such systemic hatred and violence could magically disappear in a single generation, just like a child can believe in the tooth fairy. Any adult suggesting such a thing is lying to you.
I'm not much of a Pokémon person, but my son is & trying to buy him cards at retail prices has been nigh on impossible the last couple of years, and I refuse to pay scalpers for anything. So it warms the cockles of my heart to see so many of them having a full meltdown about the recent set. Enjoy!!

Cis people see trans people upset about their rights being stripped as “performative outrage” because they often can’t understand what it’s like to genuinely give a fuck about trans people. Their allyship is performative and therefore so must be our anger over attacks against us.
I recommend you stop telling trans people what they should do and start telling the politicians to advocate equal rights for everyone.
Porn and art with sexual themes deserve to exist on their own merit, not because censoring them has knock-on effects for non-sexual content. Please stop expressing outrage by implying that censorship would be okay if it *just* affected sex workers and artists engaging with sexual themes.
