Somebody asked me on Reddit why people who use AI to generate Recomp projects are currently being rejected from the communities and what they can do to fix this. I might tweak parts of this to be a more general blog post at some point, but this should be of help to anyone in a similar situation.

Negativity trends. Outrage sells. YouTubers want you to be upset so they get more engagement. Halo: Campaign Evolved is a flawed game (as all games are,) but a fundamentally good remake of a classic. It's worth playing. It's only $50, and I had a LOT of fun. I am genuinely excited for the sequel.

I'm a very big fan of "fuck around, immediately find out" bard-style songs. "You Don't Mess Around with Jim," "Big Iron," "Leroy Brown," etc. Anyone have good examples of story-telling songs where a hotshot gets his shit knocked by some random stranger? A cautionary tale in campfire song form?
Something I'm learning multiple times while editing my upcoming Collector's Edition video: Do NOT put something in your script and voice it just because a fan wiki said it's true. The number of times I've eaten crow and had to revoice or cut a line is reaching double digits. Zelda Dungeon Wiki......

The genre of "Streamer recapping what he remembers from Today's News" is really dumb and should probably die. It's like Wal-Mart eating every corner store and having a monopoly on groceries in small towns. Small journalists cannot compete, and their work is paraphrased by millionaires, poorly.
Hey that's not funny. All he needed to say was "Awh man, that wasn't funny. I dunno why I said that. I'm really sorry." and this would be over, but instead they muted the VOD and seemingly auto-filtered the word "Pretti," because I cannot find one comment about this on the stream which is unlikely.

Since apparently this isn't making it beyond UK news yet, Rockstar petitioned a British court to section an 18 year old autistic kid under the mental health act for hacking their server and leaking a short GTA 6 clip a couple of years ago. No trial, no term of sentence, just locked up in hospital.
