I'm sorry to talk even light politics, but no matter where you are, please keep on top of your voter registration. Things are getting more and more messy the closer midterms get and it's blatantly obvious they're trying to rig things by cancelling registrations willy nilly (among other things).

Texas has suspended over 1.2 million voter registrations. Many valid voters in Texas have found their voter registrations were somehow canceled when they checked. Check your registration here and fix it immediately - Texas doesn't always honor provisional ballots cast on election day.

I wish I knew what happened with my generation. A lot of my friends were metalheads and punks in school, progressive and stick-it-to-the-man types. After graduation I watched all of them on Facebook do an about face into far right shit over time. Only me and two others kept our ideals.

Got vaccinated (flu + covid) and my shoulder hurts like a bitch. Never fails to surprise me when it happens. Didn’t used to be like that. Get a shot, no problem. Now it’s like someone sucker punched me in the shoulder as hard as they could. The fun crap that comes with age I guess.
