This. 1000x. Whenever I hear an artist talk about accepting furry commissions like it's debasing I want to strangle a mf. The fandom is built on a love of art and general creativity deeper and more sincere than any other group on the net.
Edan🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈@artkett1412.bsky.social · 11mo agoThis fandom has a reputation for being "suspiciously wealthy" but the truth is most furries just love and value art and people so much that they want to use their money for art and supporting artists so they can make a living doing what they love. It's a cycle of genuine passion I think.
The artist behind these has been doing this longer than most of us and we are so lucky to be able to enjoy the breadth of her work. She needs heart surgery and could really use community support atm www.patreon.com/TerrieSmith
