These are the companies that Ireland kowtow to. Bending over backwards to welcome the dystopia into our country, and by association, Europe, where they can avoid consequence because our data protection commissioners are the definition of regulatory capture.

Catching up on Absolute Batman, and something I think that's overlooked is how brilliant a comic (as in comedy) artist @nickdragotta.bsky.social is. There have been a few moments in this series that have really cracked me up. Expression, pose, timing, framing, it's all there. Just wonderful stuff.
Hilarious headline, sort-of horrifying article. But ultimately a good result.

Cory Doctorow's newsletter is daily, so it's a lot of content, but I regard it as essential for many reasons - primarily keeping up to date on A.I and various other tech broligarcy/capitalism scams. This quote (by way of science fiction writer Steven Brust) really hits home for me:
