Cory Doctorow's newsletter is daily, so it's a lot of content, but I regard it as essential for many reasons - primarily keeping up to date on A.I and various other tech broligarcy/capitalism scams. This quote (by way of science fiction writer Steven Brust) really hits home for me:

Cory Doctorow's newsletter is essential reading on the intersection between technology and capitalism: "This is the kind of doctrine you can only fully embrace after sustaining the kind of highly specific neurological injury that is induced by taking an economics degree"

Seems unfortunately apt on Cartoonist's Day. But we do indeed continue, despite the flaws. How can we not?

Honestly I’m quite happy to cut off HP/JKR supporters the same way I have conservatives in my life. At this point there’s a concentric circle for both groups in that “you knew what you were supporting, but you put your own WANTS in front of the NEEDS of others because it don’t affect you”.
