My anxiety is such a joke lately. I just had a perfectly pleasant phone call that lasted a handful of minutes, but I feel anxious and guilt about a hundred things that could maybe possibly once in a blue moon be considered to sort of have been inferred based upon it if you looked at it sideways.

Goth night goth night goth night! What do we want? We want Fascination Street by The Cure, Night Call by Kavinsky, Starless by APC, Piggy by NIN, Humanity by Max Brhon, Fracture by Marie Vaunt, and idk, some Prodigy I've never heard before to close it out

Uninstalled instagram from my phone so I have to fire up my laptop (which I don't do too often) if I want to go on it. Last week wasn't so bad, but this week is proving trickier. Wish it was as easy to form the habits I want to as it was to form that one accidentally.

The Facial Expressions of Tethys by artist Julius von Bismarck. A suspended high-sea buoy that moves in real time. Sensors on a twin buoy out in the Atlantic Ocean send live satellite data to motors inside the museum. This makes the indoor buoy copy the exact, real-time movements of the ocean waves.

I'm knackered and in pain from my various pelvic issues, and my imagination is having a field day with all the chat about climate breakdown, emergency planning, and possible war, and I'll probably delete this, but the loml is making muffins for lunch and that's a goodness

Worrying scenes in the Channel today, for all interested in asylum policy and maritime tactics. A small boat from Normandy spent more than 30 hours at sea. Those on board now on their 2nd rescue vessel as Border Force forced to play cat and mouse with far-right activists who have their own boat.
