So excited to share our new preprint! 🎉🤩 Check it out to discover how we investigated the role and spatiotemporal dynamics of an essential Tad nanomachine during the lifecycle of our favorite bacterial predator, B.bacteriovorus 🦠 Many thanks to everyone who made this work possible!

New preprint! We show that the bacterial predator B. bacteriovorus deploys a unipolar Tad nanomachine for irreversible attachment to prey and invasion. @coralietesseur.bsky.social used CRISPRi+microfluidics to overcome barriers associated with essential systems in an obligate predatory lifestyle 🦠

Check out Snorre's latest preprint: www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6... I love this story: our 4-species synthetic bacterial community coexists across many simple environments and conditions. We show why (spoiler in the title)

Check out the first preprint from our lab describing a direct molecular cross-talk between (p)ppGpp and c-di-GMP nucleotide messengers! Great work from first-author Corentin Jaboulay who was a postdoc in our lab, and great collaborations! @mmsb-lyon.bsky.social @cnrsbiologie.bsky.social
