This was a known outcome among some of us then young lawyers at the time. But the L.A. Law generation of lawyers practicing at the time took a turd of the constitution for profit and allowed fear to upend our rights to privacy and liberty. (I was a timid, fearful child lawyer at the time, so. . .)
