It’s wrong on principle, it’s unamerican—we rejected religious tests for office and dual loyalty smears with JFK, Jewish Americans, more—and every minority (especially but not exclusively religious) should recognize it as yet another assertion that only white Christians are real Americans.

What's hilarious about this is these are LAWYERS. This retention bonus is pathetic. It's $12k/y. An entry level SWE switching from US gov to private sector would bump their base comp ~$60k-100k. Imagine how much more dramatic that number is for lawyers, among the highest paid people in the US.

I used to be really interested in generative animation, but it seems like all anyone cares about these days is realism :( I miss the days when the "AI aesthetic" described a positive feature of the medium rather than a flaw people were trying to avoid.
