Ebook cover for ‘A Light for the Dead to Follow’ by Rebecca Crunden. Cover image is of a skull surrounded by red-pink flowers. There are vines at the top beside the title. The title font is black and maroon, the name font is white.

Watching season 2 of the live action ATLA series and I had to laugh in episode 3 when Longshot shoots an arrow into the doorframe to keep it from closing, and he just pulls it out with no issue. Ask me how I know it wouldn't be that easy 😂🙃🫠

As July draws to a close, I've come to the realisation that as of this month—five years after starting this writing journey—I have sold my 1000th book! 🥳 Thank you all for picking up my books and taking a chance on my sci-fi series! Long may it continue. www.alankdell.co.uk/... 💙📚🪐

Banner showing all five of my books covers on a background of the planet Mars. The text reads: Over 1000 books sold! 246 for The Re-Emergence, 444 for From the Grave of the Gods, 105 for The Flight of the Aurora, 119 for The Shadow of Arcadia, and 89 for The God Sun. 1003 as of July 2026.

Here's most baffling things about AI slop: Increasing numbers of channels using gen AI to add text to an image. Lmfao, why? You can't even use a font? There are countless free apps that let you do that shit. Why do you need to use AI for it you absolute spanners? 😂🤡 1/2

And so just like that, Mr 10 levels up to 11. 🥳 We got him his first phone. The thing he's most excited about? Having access to the entire body of human scientific knowledge 😄 In fact he's going on a trip today to the Science Museum (he doesn't know it yet). Bummed I can't come because of work.

😭😭 Hellyynnaaaa YOU'RE SO KIND plz follow her y'all you will not regret it 😤 READ IMBUED AND THEN UNTWINED OK

#SPAAW 💙📚 Azalea Forrest's writing is a bright sunbeam on a rainy afternoon, delicious, warm tea after a meal, a hug when you least expect it. Her cozy, magical, Ghibli-esque series, The Witch of Emelle, about a small-town witch trying to make it in the world, is light and kind, with a protagonist

I don't know who needs to hear this but if you've been told that your AI thing looks shit, just consider that even if it looked good you'd still be the biggest fucking loser on the planet.

The Hacker: Wikus befriends an illigal AI but turns it into a tool for revenge. How far dare he go? www.smashwords.com/books/1622787 The Secret Agent: Yevgeny goes on his first mission as a spy, to recruit a girl who, like him, has magical powers. www.smashwords.com/books/view/1... Both FREE! 💙📚

Book cover for Origins: The Hacker, a dystopian scifi short story by Barry Ryerson. A man types code at a computer with a glitchy holographic display. Blood stains the left wall, while an arid landscape can be seen through the right window.

NEW ART ALERT! Check out this amazing artwork done by my artist friend Aowna! This is the Kingeater, Soldit, transformed into a dragon and destroying a tyrannical kingdom. What's that colorful liquid coming out of his mouth, you ask? Let's just say, many tyrants have colorful blood

Artwork of the Kingeater, Soldit, transformed into a dragon. Painted by Aowna. Soldit is a blue scaled dragon with orange spikes and protrusions, a sun-orange/yellow eye, and sharp teeth. Blood of many colors is coming out of his mouth, representing the many kings he has eaten.
He is standing atop a gothic-architecture castle. Spiked spires are also visible in the foreground.

One of the loveliest reviews I’ve received. Give it a read, and if this book sounds like something you’d also enjoy, it’s open for pre-order now)
