so another reminder this is a MARK UP OF BILLS as the senate committee will be voting on them tomorrow do any calls you can before tomorrow and do not lose hope and no doom and gloom we've beaten these bills before and with the infighting of which kosa bill gets passed it's unlikely to pass

The SCREEN Act is not just another age-verification bill — it goes much further than anything passed at the state-level or in other countries. 1. The bill doesn't just target porn sites. It goes after *any* site that allows material "harmful" to minors. You'd have to scan your face to use Google.

i wish you could block accounts on youtube. like not just blocking them from interacting with you but also permanently blocking things that line up with search terms, channels that wont stop being recommended to you that you dont want to watch, etc. i think youtube needs a robust block system

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.
