When an artist who inspires you turns out to be a rapist, your response cannot be to stop making art. Reject them, their work, the parts of them you once emulated, but don’t stop. It wasn’t their crime that inspired you. Make the things they made you want to make. Fuck them; keep the inspiration.

I genuinely am still surprised by fandom’s hatred for engage. Like everyone is entitled to their opinions but it didn’t do anything egregious enough to warrant this level of hate

I was relatively happy with most of how this video turned out, but every couple days I get comments from yugi boomers. I get that one of the main criticisms of yugioh is its complexity (and I address that), but I wish I could have more heavily emphasized that it's something I think is mostly good.
