P3 digital maths session for Maths Week Scotland. We learned how to scan QR codes to access online Maths Games.
P1 read the book 10 dots and set ourselves a challenge of making our own pictures with dots.

P3 completed their first Maths Challenge yesterday - learning how to make paper fortune tellers. We wrote maths questions inside and can’t wait to try them out with our families at the Open Afternoon.
Primary 4 made wedges with potatoes from the school garden. We made 3 flavours: salt, cheese and siracha. We took a class vote and the siracha was voted as the best flavour! #PlantGrowHarvestCook

P4 had an excellent morning exploring the Willow Tearooms. They identified shapes and colours used by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, made some stencil art and enjoyed some delicious cake in the tearoom.

P4 had a great trip with park rangers Alexandra and Denise. We did a clean air experiment, using fungus on sycamore trees to test how clean the air is in different parts of the park. We saw lots of wildlife, including lots of squirrels and a grey heron up close!

They made awesome Wilomina drawings before our visit and 10 winners will receive a signed book. A massive thanks to the school for their support and enthusiasm. We’re going to visit 11 more schools in the coming month. And thanks to Waterstones for supplying the books. It was such a special event!

Congratulations to Ethan who won the P7 Golden Pigeon Award for his amazing creativity. This year he created an incredible animation, showed his artistic style and flair in his graphic designs and brought stories to life with his drama performance. Singing is also one of his talents! Well done!
