Indeed. I stopped going on it with my kids a few years ago, as I genuinely think the service is dangerous. If they ever have any kind of accident on that train, it will be carnage. They never have enough carriages. They put their passengers at risk.

This train between Oxford and Birmingham is, consistently, a grim nightmare-fuel vision of hell. I will never understand why they don’t put more carriages on.

Station staff have asked passengers to wait for the GWR stopping train to Banbury instead.

Place it in the middle of three coaches and no one has to walk too far to get a sausage roll or chicken bake. First Class can have a wee M&S concession in a corner with overpriced sandwiches and packs of macarons and be grateful for that.
I saw this thing that they have trains in China now where you can order food from places at *stations the train train is going to pass through* and the food will be delivered to the train and *brought to you at your seat*.

"AI Is Squeezing Out the Rest of the Stock Market," reported WSJ 2 days ago. We basically bet the whole economy on the most optimistic visions panning out.
