A thing I love when playing a ttrpg with a GM that isn't used to my nonsense, is when I try to pull a shenanigan that stops them and forces them to stare into the void like Steve Harvey. On the flipside, I also love being baffled by player shenanigans when I GM. Chaos goblins unite ✊️✊️

As someone who never had any sort of office job, the rare instances that I'm confronted with corporate speak feels incredibly jarring. I'm just a little art weirdo, what is this strange impersonal dialect you're using with me?

I find it so strange and fascinating how dice and tarot have swapped purposes over the centuries. Dice were a tool for seers to predict the future but are almost exclusively used in games now, while tarot cards were used for games for 100s of years but are now used to try to predict the future.

This weekend I'm debuting my latest brochure sized rpg, SPACE PUNX, at Staple Independent Media Expo in Austin. But you can also now buy it at my bigcartel! Tour the galaxy as a punk band in the distant future of 2012!

as a culture we have really given "ideas" way too much credit. ideas are a dime a dozen. they happen all the time. the magic is way more in the doing, and the doing's diminished stature is linked to lack of respect for labor and, more recently, skill and expertise.

I personally don't like the idea lf using christian angels in D&D, but if you're gonna do it, I would argue you should modify a beholder statblock and descriptions a little bit so you can have a more biblically accurate looking angel. Be not afraid? No, make your players afraid of angels.
