Okay, after all the new cycles about GTA6 I've been trying to avoid commenting on, I've watched the latest trailers and I kinda feel I have to say something, so I've been collecting some thoughts while out walking about the state of gaming generally. This might be a long thread so bare with me.

Necromancer Unleashed is out on Patreon! I've always loved the deeply anatomical, almost medical approach they took with the class's flavor text and wanted to make a Fatal Method for it as well as create some other additions to the base class such as integration with the Undead Master archetype.

Dominoix Lilitaire, a Duskwight Elezen Warrior of Light designed for Final Fantasy XIV. They have one light pink eye, and light grey skin. In their Dawntrail design, they have an eyepatch over their missing right eye, a donut earring in their left ear, a dravanian hairpin in their white, slightly curly hair, and an Ishgardian Knight's ring on a string around their neck. They have small breasts and a pudgy frame, and wear a ruffled pink dress with a leather corset.

I especially feel bad for writers who have had AI-related projects in the works for years. I read Barbara Truelove's Of Monsters and Mainframes last year and tried to rec it to people but the response was "ugh, AI." It's such a good book about computers with feelings. It's not her fault AI sucks.

As a science fiction writer I really fucking resent tech bros for ruining the phrase "artificial intelligence." 80 years of it being all about cool androids and interesting computers destroyed by five years of "Spicy autocorrect making everything shittier for money." NEVER FORGIVE.

Sometimes, when playing Pathfinder, I'll want to check a rule. So I'll open up Google and type shit like "Stabilize the Dying" "Persistent Bleed while Unconscious" And I'll forget to add "Pathfinder", and Google will be like HEY YOU SHOULD GO TO THE HOSPITAL

One of my DMs is talking about how the campaign is about to end in 2-3 sessions and wants to move to Pathfinder 2E. We're all gonna be learning the system on the go. Pathfinder 2E players, any tips and tricks to keep in mind?
