The BBC have announced a limited edition Inside No. 9 Blu-ray 9 disc box set for - yes, you guessed it - £99.99. Nice to see the BBC releasing more high-def comedy on physical media - never a bad thing - but a bit of a pisser for those who bought the first four series then just got left behind.

I always thought it a great pity that the genuinely talented Chris Langham tarnished not only the hard work of many of his peers, but his own scene-stealing turn as Tight-Mouthed Larry in Bottom. No one could sing Night Fever and crash into a table quite like Langham. Anyway, burn in hell, Chris.

Absolute bollocks. Did this idiot never watch The Smell Of Reeves And Mortimer? Vic's artwork is all over it
If I told you in 1999 to guess which one of Reeves and Mortimer would end up being a panel show legend and which would end up doing quiet art tutorials on YouTube, you would never have guessed right.

One of modern life's strange mysteries: why seemingly no one ever uses an up-to-date photo of Peter Kay. Not in newspapers, online articles, memes, not even in his own publicity material. Even on TV tonight, right behind him. He's 53 and lost a shit ton of weight, it's fine, we understand.
Watched an old WILTY? in which Caroline Quentin claimed to have left a Genesis show early because she wasn't enjoying it. It was 'probably 1982' at 'Wembley' which points to it being one of three nights at Wembley Arena in December 1981. In which case she missed the In The Cage Medley. Daft cow.
"For such a completely wonderful but daft series Doctor Who fandom can be incredibly po-faced." Never has a nail's head been so hard hit.
This really is a very silly story indeed, and the people behind it also got N.W.A.’s greatest hits album signed by Fraser Hines, Sylvester McCoy, Peter Purves (who “didn’t bat an eyelid”), and Michael Jayston—and then got the Doctor Who Sound Effects album signed by Public Enemy

- Series 1 & 2 are out on Blu-ray, plenty of reviews out there... - The main issue with the DVDs was a very visible lack of saturation, not indicative of the source material - 2" quad VT actually looks pretty great by modern standards - Since when did the BBC not care about picture quality?

The One Show thought a fire alarm was going off in the studio, turns out it's just everyone's bloody phones going off at once with this
