internet weirdo at large. They're writing solarpunk comics! They wrote that Wasted Talent webcomic back in the day. BC 🍁 http://www.jammyness.com/links_ig

new zine: MY SECRET FRIENDSHIP DOSSIER! A cute workbook filled with vintage clipart to help you keep track of the birthdays, dietary needs, and other key info on 12 of your friends! Learn more about each other, and how to love each other more and better.

"my secret friendship dossier", a zine printed in black on hot pink paper. it is designed to look like a composition notebook covered in stickers. the background shows an example of one of the interior page designs, with writing prompts about sun sign, dietary restrictions, favourite foods, gift or friend date ideas, love language, and other notesphoto of the "my secret friendship dossier" zine held open to an interior spread, showing the question pages interspersed with silly vintage clipart. the interior pages are printed on yellow paper.

new zine! HOW AND WHY TO ORGANIZE A BOOK & ZINE SWAP: Running a book and zine swap is easier than you might think! This 20-page quarter-letter-size zine will help you choose a location, decide what to bring, and how to promote your event.

the zine "How and Why to Organize a Book & Zine swap" is shown overlaid over a photo of the 2026 book and zine swap, showing people chilling and reading on blankets under a canopy of trees. the zine is printed on yellow paper and the cover has a border of rose designs around its title.

the entire Chinese internet has embraced what's basically a work of outsider art; a terribly animated film about a cow's dream made by a mother-son team and distributed by a former interior decoration company. It's now made millions at the box office.

Niu Lai (lit. Cow Come) was released without a press kit. Movie theaters in China have begun making their own posters. Surprisingly, not an AI in sight, just ppl living in the mement.

People are so Capitalism-pilled that they see "user number big" as preferable + a reason Bluesky is "lesser" than other social media. But consider this: I don't want to be in a bigger, angrier, shittier crowd of people. I want to be in the smaller, curated, better behaved and more loyal crowd.

One of the most unique comics I got at Perth Comic Arts Festival is this zine that is a paper airplane that tells a story about in-flight emotions as you unfold it. (By J. Harris, @harrinaut on instagram)

So, we need to talk about webtoons(the company) has done to webcomics Over the past 7 or so years, we've seen this absolute shift in expectation, migration, and stagnation in the webcomics sphere which applies to style, sustainability, and the platforms grip on readers and creators

TOMORROW! I'm excited to debut two new zines! COMEBACK TOUR: a Vanlife travelogue about my adventures in New Zealand (with a few stops on my way home - Melbourne, Singapore and Seoul!) THIS IS ME IN PARADISE 1: A Riso collection of my autobio comics, limited run of 60. New stickers!

A photo of the "Comeback Tour" zine laid flat to show its cover with another copy that is laid open. A few trick-related trinkets are also shown decoratively in the frame. A promo photo of the "This is me in Paradise" zine laid flat to show its cover, with another copy laid open. A few purple trinkets are laid around for visual interestA photo of some stickers: a mushroom sticker sheet, a salal sticker, a dandelion sticker, and a moss heart that says "grow slow" on it. Also some trinkets.

in which @annaleen.bsky.social asks us to dream big: “What if we gave public transportation the same amount of money that investors have given to AI? With billions of dollars, what could transit do? And how might it transform our cities and lives?” www.coyotemedia.org/funding-bay-...

A Modest Proposal for Funding Transit Instead of AI

In the ’60s, the Bay Area almost got a high-speed train from Marin to San Jose. What could happen if we dreamed big again?

I recently finished reading Reverse Centaur. It was interesting, I think it's very timely in the sense that I think the concepts are useful in this moment but aren't going to be "timeless". The framework of "Centaur" vs "Reverse Centaur" for assessing different AI applications is useful.

Hey Vancouver, next Sunday I'll be at the Summer Gander! It's in Mount Pleasant this time (316 W 5th Ave, near Olympic Village station) Free to attend, should be a chill time 🤗💜 I'll have some new zines... 👀
