This is shocking. I think (despite evidence to the contrary) there's a view that superior education in one area implies better knowledge generally. It's simply not true. And what of employers who have a duty to provide safe workplaces and a positive duty to eliminate SA/harassment?

I like this reframing of inertia as 'status quo bias'. Inertia feels inevitable, whereas biases are normal and can be compensated for once we become aware of them. And not just for sustainability either, but for many things we do the way they've 'always been done'

I completely agree. Australian sport regulatory bodies need an overhaul due to rising temps. Signed a parent who pulled their kid off a 40C+ concrete tennis court in QLD due to heat stroke & got abuse from others & a coach for doing so.
