every time i see someone saying they like deadlock but struggle with how hard it is/mean other players, i want to gently ask them why they don't play with bots. the game's bots seem pretty robust... i just don't understand why you would willingly play with MOBA gamers if you had other options
seriously and unironically, chef boyardee. ettore boiardi was an italian immigrant who came to this country with nothing and became a household name on the strength of his pasta sauce. he's the perfect representation of *real* american values: multiculturalism, opportunity, and carbohydrates

I think it’s important for anyone who (completely understandably) checked out on AI the second the crypto/nft/metaverse/snake oil chuds started pushing it to realize that, in at least the domain of software development, we are very much living in a scenario where the snake oil actually works

okay this has happened so frequently over the past couple of days with artists that have never done Harry Potter art and have generally seemed woke in the past that i'm starting to wonder if someone in PR at WB is sending checks. like i'm not a conspiracy guy, it just feels very sudden and odd
jude paw picture diary 🔜 TFCON ORLANDO@judepaw.bsky.social · 2d agoi've had to unfollow more artists on instagram than i think i ever have, and it's all because they jumped on the harry potter malfoy trend. in a lot of cases, it was just people i'd only ever casually followed anyway, but there were quite a few artists i'd respected, too. really disappointing
We have added a new rule (number 6) to Heliosphere. Mods must not require payment or be trial versions of other mods. Mods that require payment for features or are trial/partial versions of a mod are misleading and essentially advertisements. We will not allow these types of mods.
i think in lieu of everything, a gentle reminder that its okay if you got tricked by something thinking it was human made when it was gen ai. whether you choose to continue to engage with it or not is the problem. being fooled doesnt make you a bad or stupid person. do not beat yourself up.
yknow i feel my diet is going pretty well lately, i haven't felt that tempted by stuff and-

Adding: this snark is never for audience benefit. If someone thinks the sci-fi is too weird or the horror is too discomforting, they can make their own jokes. Art doing that itself is to prevent others' jokes. The artist says "I'LL laugh so YOU can't make fun of me." And it's so spineless.
