By promoting his crony Scharf to the position of WH Counsel, Trump is soft-launching a potential SCOTUS nominee. Scharf argued Trump's legal immunity case and defended him in the hush money trial. His loyalty lies with Trump, not the law. Yet that's exactly why he'll be on the SCOTUS shortlist.

Trump Judge Eric Tung wrote an opinion protecting a corporate CEO from having to pay back the money a jury said he made off false advertising. The Senate Judiciary cannot continue to give Trump lapdogs lifetime positions, or they’ll make decisions just like this one that hurts working people.

Trump's lapdogs are swearing in his other lapdogs now. Today, Todd Blanche, Trump's own former personal lawyer, was sworn in as Attorney General by Emil Bove, a judge on the Third Circuit and also Trump's former personal lawyer. This is not what an independent judiciary looks like.
