My friend from high school, Shannon Reed, has written yet another book! Thus giving me yet another chance to brag that I was her prom date. "My Girls," the latest installment in the My Prom Date Wrote a Book trilogy, will ship in February 2027!

Stevens' pollster, who had more reason to whisper happy talk in her ear than anyone, reportedly told her she was going to get blown out. I don't think pollsters are incompetent. Far from it. I just think we're in an unpollable era, maybe forever. Anyway, off to mainline some polls!

Looks like a 10-15 point polling miss in Michigan regardless of who wins. And people have been writing a lot of electability takes using this data. It’s dangerous out there folks be safe

There's a guy with a blog I love to hate who fancies himself quite the connoisseur of music (and every other goddamn thing). He's pissed that Lauryn Hill, famous for showing up hours late to gigs, showed up 37 minutes late to the Newport Folk Festival. And, by all accounts, brought the house down.

She rarely makes surprise appearances like this—and fans are losing their minds over the footage.

I like my job, but every year when I sign my contract I have this little fantasy where things go south and I take my revenge through contumacious conduct. BOSS: You're the most contumacious person I've ever met! ME: [flicking cigarette away] more contumaciousness where that came from

section of an employment contract specifying that I can be fired for "malfeasance, inefficiency, or contumacious conduct"

You know, we can make fun of the (adult) kids these days for their nugget-heavy eating habits, but I'll say this for us: we are never, ever, ever, ever, ever going to fall for a quasi-patriotic appeal to eat our Variety Meats ever again.

RFK Jr. suggests Americans can more easily afford groceries if they start eating liver instead of beef: "Most of the cheap cuts of meat are very inexpensive. ... You can buy liver"

When I took my road test in Pennsylvania, the "rules of the road" instructional booklet had the roadkill rules on the INSIDE FRONT COVER, because it's more important than stop signs. (You can claim it, but if it's a buck it counts against your bag limit.)

Only Illinois residents can claim a roadkill deer, according to state law. The only stipulation is the resident claiming the deer cannot be delinquent on child support payments.
