Just to give everyone a heads up, next Tuesday is the sixth (?!!) anniversary of Merry Hell, and you know what that means... 14th JULY 2026 = DRAW MERRY DAY Rules: - You don't gotta do it, obviously - It doesn't have to be Merry, it can be Hester or something - Any level of skill or effort allowed

Since today is apparently Planetary Mapmaking Day, enjoy this WIP image of Estavelle's world map. If you look at it right you may find that it looks vaguely familiar but I assure you it makes no scientific sense whatsoever.

A stylized image of a world map. The map itself is a stylized conic projection in a half circle with the north pole about a fifth of the way from the top. The continents look vaguely like earth's but all seem to have big chunks bitten out of them and none of them are in quite the right place, though it's hard to tell because of the distorted projection. Wavy blue lines trace across the northern and southern hemispheres. "THE WORLD" is written over the top and six mysterious symbols in circles line the bottom. It's all framed in a sparse frame because I haven't gotten to that part yet cut me some damn slack.

Today is planetary mapmaking day. I'm using the approach from my World Maps class (previously Continents) to build one that makes scientific sense for an @adastragames.com project in their Ten Worlds setting for Attack Vector. Let's go over the drafts of some of the first layers!
