Rounding out my evening with some true indie work, The Consumed by @uppermindink.bsky.social. He nailed the mythological, almost allegorical tone of the story. It was simple in the way of elegance, and the art is absolutely phenomenal. What an amazing talent!

Covid lockdowns demonstrated, in a deeply imperfect way, the possibility of large-scale social solidarity for a higher cause. That is a prime reason why so many powerful people want us to run screaming away from them into the comforting arms of selfish individualist competition.
hard to think of a celebrity who‘s been publicly humiliated harder in the past decade without, like, being involved in allegations. every idea she has is the wrong one, to the degree that it’s hard to even call her properly Famous at this point. it’s kind of astounding
