Dirty Dancing 2: Havana Nights

In the passionate heat of Havana, their connection grows, as they push past their fears and explore the electric energy between them, finding freedom in both dance and desire.

Another callous liberal take to a daily tragedy in the U.S. Nobody cares about elections when cops are killing people. Protesters I've spoken in Madison know Dems are cop worshippers too, that Dems are the ones who unleashed killer cops on them, and its also Dems that let cops act with impunity.

Facebook post from Miles Kristan states "There's plenty of video of the protesters, threatening physical violence against people for simply filming this encampment.
In the end what happened to Williamson street will result in
Republicans winning offices thus creating legislation that will have an opposite effect of what the protesters wanted." He also shares a drone photo of the protest encampment and it looks like it's full of love and community.

I've been irate at how little national coverage the killings of four Black men in Memphis by federal agents have gotten -- and even how little in Tennessee. The root? State lawmakers who wholeheartedly approve of the occupation of Memphis.

Four men have been shot and killed in Memphis by agents with the Memphis Safe Task Force. Does anyone outside the city care?

"came across as tying a permanent tattoo to job opportunity" it cane across that way because that was literally what you did. "I took a bite of your sandwich and continued until it was gone because I thought it tasted good. I didn't mean to come across as a sandwich eater."

oh my god a Y Combinator startup called LemonLime threw a party, brought in a tattoo artist offering free tattoos, and then said they would give an immediate job interview to anyone who got a tattoo of their logo what is wrong with these people.

We hosted a YC Startup School afterparty at the LemonLime office to meet exceptional people, and find out which of them are just as crazy as we are.
That's why we brought an actual tattoo artist to our party and offered an instant interview to anyone who got a LemonLime tattoo.
We are bold, we take risks, and we do things that haven't been done before. Being committed to our mission is paramount.
Pre-requisites for building the future.
If you're reaching out to us to apply for a job, you might want to take notes.
I love LemonLime.

Regardless of how they remix the language, every super rich dude since the beginning of capitalism has only had one idea & it’s that by virtue of being in a position to extract more wealth from the labor of the collective than we ourselves are able to, they are entitled to more rights than we are.

Very cool that Shopify’s CEO thinks the poor should have far less of a vote than the rich. Still worth that ad read money, folks?

Shopify CEO Tobi Lutke says “good system.” In response to the following proposal:

“Interesting... what about weighted voting proportional to the level of income tax you pay? (no income tax paid - O vote, $1-100k - 1 vote, $100-200k 2 votes and so on... cap it at 5 votes for $500k+. For those that constantly complain about the wealthy not paying tax/fair share they'd have nothing to worry about right? Why not reward representation of taxation and build a democracy around those that foot the bill?”
