The candidate who won the IL-9 primary, Daniel Biss, was also actively opposed by AIPAC. He even published "I Was AIPAC's Number 1 Target — And I Beat Them" in The Nation after he won the election, which Abughazaleh lost. Her saying "AIPAC ... bought" is simply an outrageous, scaldingly false claim!
