Today I sat in a meeting where they pulled up a list ranked by token usage and ohhed and ahhed w/o any other metric or shown savings, in time or cost, by said token usage. Everything has to change. Everything. Do not settle for politicians who want to go back to "normal." "Normal" was the garbage state of existence that allowed all of this evil to take root and thrive. Everything has to change.

The subtext is that they want to destroy public education and any sort of public good that comes from governmental services. They want to privatize everything. So many people that may cheer for this are going to be very confused when basic services disappear in their towns.
