Everything flows

Currently reading an old and humbling edition of Dante's Divine Comedy, which my grandfather bequeathed to me. Each "chant" is accompanied by an illustration by Botticelli, except for chant II, which announces "The drawing of chant II has been lost".

A closeup of a book. Written on the left page in French "drawing of chant II is lost". Written on right page "prologue of hell".Old Italian on the right, french on the leftA Map of Dante's journey through hell, purgatory and heaven One of Botticelli's drawings. Here is chant VIII, showing two towers, and boats loaded with demons

Sunday evening. Nap on the balcony. A strong wind is blowing through the trees. We are ultimately prisoners of who we are, but becoming aware of this is opening the door and letting compassion flow.

The heatwave here is 10°C less intense than the one that just happened in Europe (and is coming back to crush Europe again), but yet here I am taking two cold bath per day to stay alive and well.

Wacom recently asked me to talk about why I make queer comics, and given there are multiple bills right now floating around in congress that are effectively "we will kill your livelihood if we get a sniff of queer" I had some pretty strong, simply feelings to relay.
