I was going to go to the Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire this weekend but tickets for a family of four are $192 just to get in the door and I can't justify that unfortunately. :( Maybe next year

I don't give a fuck how much I might agree with your political meme or cartoon, if it's obviously AI generated, you're getting a block

There's a reason I rely on online random name generators and replace them if I eventually think of something better

MULDER [slapping down plane tix]: Hope you packed your rain coat, Scully. SCULLY: Seattle? Mulder it's the weekend, what- MULDER [handing her a file] Confirmed sightings, Scully. This is big SCULLY [eyes wide]: My God Mulder, what am I looking at here? MULDER: The locals are calling it.. JIMOTHY

I'm on the second Dungeon Crawler Carl book and enjoying it immensely but I have to keep reminding myself that my own WIP doesn't have to be non-stop action to be interesting

I've described my WIP as a mix of Firefly and The Expanse set in a Victorian era where space travel was invented, but I realized yesterday it's also channeling quite a bit of Guardians of the Galaxy energy too

No matter what happens with AI or how obsolete I become, I’m positive that on my deathbed (be it tomorrow or forty years from now), I will NOT wish that I had used AI to write anything. I’ve written a bunch of books, and each one, good or bad, is an expression of completely human creativity.
