Had some issues with the dough this week, but nonetheless, ‘tis a pizza!
Based on my own experiences, most trans people have PhDs. You find a trans girl who says, “uwu I’m just a silly bimbo, no thoughts head empty!” Very good chance she’s got a PhD.
Binface may not have won, but at least Farage is pretty much fucked.
The kinds of people you meet while trans: - has a PhD. - has a PhD and is running multiple D&D campaigns with different groups. - has a PhD and is a professional competitive weightlifter. - has a PhD and is a published author. My trans experience admittedly has been very specific.
My one piece of writing advice is just fucking do it however you want I'm not a cop go nuts.
Explaining the Clacton by-election: So, there are two main candidates. One is a joke leader of a joke party, a charlatan with no real workable policies nor any interest in governance, only in it for the media attention. The other is a guy in a bin costume.
Final Fantasy XIV. I did try it out, even got up to level 15. But I found it very clunky and unintuitive beyond the basic combat. But what really killed it for me was the required group content to progress the story. Pretty much put it down straight away once I saw that.
No hate, no dogpiling, just curious. For me, it's Skyrim. Don't know why, considering it should be exactly my kind of game, but it just didn't click for me.
Eating sausage and mash tonight, but substituting the gravy for tomato ketchup. Don’t judge me!
Serious talk for a second. Never joke about suicide. It’s a real thing that affects real people, either from having lost loved ones or coming close to it themselves. Even years later, it’s very easy for those feelings—and painful memories—to be brought up again. So take care what you say.
My top 3 moons: -Titan, moon of Saturn, amazing and atmospheric -Triton, moon of Neptune, the retrograde rebel -Dimorphos, moon of the asteroid Didymos…the one we slammed a probe into a couple of years ago ‘for science’
I think it's important for a grown adult to have a top 3 favourite moons in the system. And don't include Europa, sorry but that's just crass and derivative.
If I ever somehow become rich, I would hope to be rich the same way Sybil Ramkin is: basically living as barebones and simply as I do now, except I spend loads on a bunch of beloved weird pets (probably cats, knowing me).
My next read, started earlier this evening!
Reminder for UK folks that there is a BIG solar eclipse this Wednesday! Gonna be happening between about 6pm and 8pm Wednesday evening, with maximum coverage (about 90-96% sunlight blocked) at around 7.10pm.
Before the semester begins, can you look at your schedule and find 30m a day to take a break? Ideally it's lunch or dinner (depending on when you work) - time to fuel up on more than mini Snickers bars and string cheese (I speak from experience). But rest your brain. Walk. Stare at a wall.

It’s weird how often you randomly come across something and think, “that would make an amazing opening line of a book.”
“Do you want to go to the library this afternoon? Ordinary people: 😊 Halo players: 😳
