One thing I learned when I was just out of college and watching 6-8 hours of Fox News a day for my research job at Media Matters: Ingesting hours of propaganda on a daily basis changes you, no matter how smart you think you are. If you don't notice the changes, that just makes you an easier mark.

it's remarkable how like, you can visibly notice how people who still use X regularly are either getting dragged to the right (if on the centre-left or centre) or just getting more toxic in general

❗SCOTUS ruled today a defendant can't just waive away their rights to an appeal if that'd be a miscarriage of justice. Gorsuch wrote a concurrence saying: If we don't limit this, prosecutors will keep pushing their luck. And he cited Bolts' article on waivers in Virginia to show how far they go:

If a defendant may prospectively waive the right to appeal his sentence, too, one might wonder what’s to stop
prosecutors from pushing their luck further yet. Might we
eventually face plea agreements that include prospective
waivers of the defendant’s right to complain about future
unreasonable searches and seizures of his home? See L.

An FR24 map showing AAL1092 from Phoenix doing a rejected landing/go-round at DCA. An FR24 map showing DAL2962 from Minneapolis doing a rejected landing/go-round at DCA. This is the single most alarming thing I’ve seen yet from RFK Jr. He is attempting to get identifiable medical records from ALL OF US. “Under the proposal, HHS would get data from 90% of the population’s medical records by 2028”. This CANNOT be permitted to happen.

It’s truly astonishing to see how comprehensively the US government is tearing down every part of the system that has made it up until now a world-leading power in science, research, and technological development. The entire world will suffer from this wanton destruction.

NEW: Trump's gross Aliens.gov site claims to map where immigrants have been taken into custody, but it includes more 83 spots where Americans alone were arrested. Over 700 locations include citizen arrests. The counter is fake. The music was ripped. And Puerto Rico is listed as a foreign country.

The White House’s Aliens.gov Site Brags That ICE Arrested More Than 700 US Citizens

The website, which compares human beings to extraterrestrials, touts arrest numbers from the Trump administration’s sweeping immigration crackdown. But some of its details are really out there.
