I think it’s really important folks learn how critihype functions and learn to see it as yet another advertisement. There are ways to deploy genuine, accurate criticism that don’t accept the hucksters’ terms or parts of their narrative.

My girlfriend, who runs a queer archive, is looking to publish an essay of an overarching / comprehensive look the history of queer political and social organizations in East Texas and is on the hunt for queer periodicals, journals, and magazines that would be interested. Anyone have suggestion?
Tell you what, I’ll worry about the imaginary oppression of robots in the future when you worry about the real oppression of humans right now
It’s ten and a half years since I said that tech execs would be seen as the new robber barons. Saying that as a digital strategy advisor to the Obama admjn while he was still in office and many Google + FB alums were making tech policy, it was… not well received. medium.com/humane-tech/...
“I thought we’re the good guys?”
No matter how good our intentions, people who work in tech will be seen as the new robber barons if we don’t start being more…

I was talking to some very smart & friendly cis lesbians the other day, and even they didn’t know: there is really no such thing as “trans healthcare.” There does not exist a pharmaceutical or treatment that is “just for trans people.” None. Pass it on to your cis friends! They just don’t know!!
Due to being menopausal and working through a few medical oddities, my cisgender wife is now taking: Estradiol Progesterone Spironolactone Which is kind of hilarious.
