twice today, when pressured, Stripe operators have said, plainly, that i cannot use stripe for the purchase of LGBTQ content. not just adult content, but explicitly LGBTQ.
Gotta say, Stripe customer service just straight up saying "we don't support the sale of any LGBT content" was not on my bingo card for this campaign. Hopefully this will be getting lots of attention from all over soon! Tell any journalists and rights orgs you know about it today!
Mostlycogent@mostlycogent.bsky.social Β· last yr.Same during my call- the wording I used was βnon-explicit, legal, non-adult LGBT contentβ, and I got back the response that βyes, stripe is blocking this. Weβre a private company, we make our own rules about it.β Was hung up on when I asked why.
"Cleaning this Ran plush is certainly a challenge, with all of its tails. I doubt it's even a fraction of the hassle Ran has to go through to clean her own tails, though." "Still not sure how this even ended up here."
". . . an overabundance of Maribel Hearn is a question. What causes such a thing? What is the driving force that separates Renko and I across worlds? Timelines? Even amidst the world we still hold each other close, there is further strife." ". . .an overabundance of Renko is an invasive species-"
"Dr. Latency's Fact of The Night: . . . a nap can be as long as you want it to be. Don't question it."
ok so an important thing i really think people on bluesky need to hear about the anti-trans megabill the tl;dr is that you could actually turn the tide of trans rights in america right now but if you donβt act now, then weβre all cooked indefinitely please read on π§΅
π I miss Hifuu and Touhou as a whole so much, but I'm just too tired as of late to write..
so, in addition to KOSA & many other things, if you find the internet useful & donβt want to see queer people placed on the sex offender registry for being inherently pornographic, IODA is worth your 5 minutes & calls to your senators and house rep. www.commoncause.org/find-your-re...
Republicans introduce bill to make all pornography a federal crime - LGBTQ Nation
It would make it a crime to send a nude selfie or any sexual image to anyone for any reason.

emily blight ππ@threnody.northsky.social Β· 2y agoso, this is that. KOSA, SCREEN, internet obscenity definition actβwhatever you call itβthis is where trans people are declared inherently obscene. can they do that? trans troops were just kicked out of the armed forces for being inherently deceitful & dishonorable, so probably! unless people fight.
"Ah, good. Tsukasa finally got a real plush made of her." "...the bootleg was quite popular though, surprisingly."
"Oh, another Renko has showed up. Is there just an infinite supply of Renkos at this point?" "...scary to think about."
"You know, it's hard to form an opinion on Yuuma, especially from a distance. Koa has plenty of nice things to say, and she looks quite cute from some angle, possibly even trustworthy." "...and then other times, I think she'd eat me the moment I'm in view."
"I have to say, despite the multitude of questions that remain unanswered, and many more that remain unasked, I've liked my time in Gensokyo. Maybe soon I'll take the time to explore a bit more, and meet some new faces. More information would always be nice, as well."
"...I still haven't met Reimu, but I'm concerned everyone is blowing the size of her gohei out of proportion. It can't be THAT long, can it?"
πThe return of Maribel Hearn starts tomorrow... Hopefully
"Am I set up to make an appearance in the new Touhou game?" "...I'm afraid I cannot disclose that information."
