[kneeling on the disgusting basement floor to put my head in the dryer] if you’re going to mock bigots at an anti trans protest may i suggest that your dunk be something other than “that man is ugly & androgynous like a trans woman!” [slamming the dryer door over & over until my head comes off]
yes, the environment got destroyed. but for a beautiful moment in time we summarised so many emails.
are there any leftist or leftist inclined presses that would publish a photo book? does Verso do photo books? I am working on a very political project and it would be neat to pitch it to a publisher :)
if the x-men were real this site would be so embarrassing. people bragging about how many mutant friends they have. ken Jennings saying he has permission from Forge to play bolivar trask’s crossword puzzle
there are certainly more humiliating things than forgetting what you were doing and licking the splat of tuna & crab cat food off your hand and realizing you think it tastes pretty good but i haven’t done any of them today so i remain a bit embarrassed and i think the cats can tell.
[whispering] i *will not* waste my one precious life yelling at someone online on a saturday night. not even one "shut the fuck up, you dweeb." not even one little, "well, the important thing is you got to 'well, actually' a woman." i *will not* waste my one precious life yelling at someone online
What I hate about COVID downplayers is… you won okay. In the aftermath of humanity coming together to develop the most crucial vaccines of our lifetime & collectively sacrificing to save lives, we are now less safe, less vaccinated & less empathetic than ever. You won ok. Lay down your swords.
I just subscribed to this block list, and I really appreciate the public service provided here
I started getting followed by some "film festivals" and "writing festivals" and thought "oh, these are cool!" Then I looked a little closer. They're all part of a network that preys on writers, charging us for reviews, and feeding our stuff into slop generators. So I made a list.👋🏻🖕🏻😠
now cruising home from some errands in an acceptable amount of sun for a girl who makes casper look tan to a song that too many people forgot about and honestly sometimes i am just so fucking into being alive.

what if we kissed in the disco car wash experience?
it’s summer again & i’m out in tanks & people sometimes still say “i love your tattoos” & i should just be polite & demure about it but i always end up in some version of “thank you. i’m removing them which is slow & painful & why this arm looks awful so by implication i question your taste.”
i wanna know which extremely online lawyer made sure to require the post be pinned. genius.
Ah, this warms the cockles of my cold, dead heart. Wait til you see the price a TERF had to pay for lying about a trans woman. "...also be required to publish a court-approved apology that must remain pinned on their social media channels for three months" www.lgbtqnation.com/2026/07/an-a...
I love Jane's Patreon. Been a supporter for YEARS. She always posts wonderful recipes along with other great stuff. She is a fantastic human being and I would be personally grateful if y'all stepped up and supported her Patreon so she can pay rent this month and every month. #transcrowdfund
MY RENT IS DUE IN LESS THAN AN HOUR AND I'M STILL £474 SHORT Really anything at all you can give or sharing helps me get closer
That would be The Woman in Red, created by Richard E. Hughes and George Mandel, who first appeared in THRILLING COMICS #2 (March 1940). She is currently in the public domain.
Who *is* the first female superhero? I feel like that’s a fact I need in my brain.
I like this notetaking example. it is a good case of how gender works. Notetaking has never been about producing a transcript. It is a bureaucratic skill in the 20th c. organixarion because it is SENSEMAKING. Those women socialized to take notes? They have been doing men’s metacognition for them
Notetaking in meetings is tiny case in point - used to be some predictable social assumptions who would do it; now anyone can offer to do ”notetaking” by turning on the AI listener. Further interesting scenario is human recollection / notes (taken by habit by a person) conflict with AI summary
this thread is something i have been feeling intensely as i collect fucking copilot/zoom/fucking claude transcripts from people who don’t understand why they are unhelpful to them and now it’s my problem.
So a masculinist understanding of notetaking would think a transcription app is the same as taking notes. That’s why they think an AI transcript is a time-saver. They think the notes are the thinking because when a human takes the notes, it is.
also: my wife still hand-redacts and/or corrects my deadnames on even junk mail she knows will promptly go into the shredder. it’s probably technically bad i no longer know a lot of human beings thanks to The Circumstances™️ but also if i’m going to get to know one, corinne is the one to know.
corinne ordered replacement parts while i was at work and fixed the bike while i was at work and i woke up today to a functional bike and we are so back and if you’ll excuse me i am now going to ride 20 miles uphill and sweat out like 10% of my body weight.

my stationary bike has died so i guess i’ve lost my reason to live? i think that was the whole thing.

I wanna break things down, some of y'all don't know you're fascists & that's why it's laughable you can beat them. If you hate trans people, you're fascist. There's no other reason to hate them than that. If you hate Black people, you're fascist, all fascism is tested on us bearing it most brutally.
men would rather surround themselves with people who tell them they can never be wrong than apologize
this is sincerely my fave houseguest song we've released so far and it would mean a ton to me if you could check it out ❤️
here’s your rx — listen twice in the morning and twice at night. you’ll also need to take a folic acid supplement fyi. side effects can include rage, crushing sadness, or insomnia. some people have reported a sudden urge to dismantle the settler state. www.subvert.fm/houseguest/t...
buying a hilary duff album to bond with the coworker who’s always treated me like a completely normal woman & who only broke once, in november 2024, by saying “today probably sucks extra for you; do you need anything i can do?” so, fine; i will try your thing. but i’m giving you underscores next.
If you believe your own rights & liberty are non-negotiable then you know that you’re an audacious asshole, like, a real piece of shit, if you find yourself willing to negotiate the rights & liberty of others.
Imagine if the papers of record spent nearly as much time on the right’s massive unprecedented surveillance and pre-crime agenda as they did on “leftist cancel culture.”
“The FBI has signaled that its new effort to brand political opponents of the president as terrorists has only just begun, and that soon the power of large language models will be brought to bear on the effort to flag and tag political dissidents en masse.”
Minority report: FBI seeks AI for political watch list
Documents show the FBI seeking AI tools to flag Americans before they act, as the terror watchlist's focus moves toward domestic dissent.
