I’m on a group on The Other App for Cannabis use in Autism and even though it’s not something we use here at home, there are incredible testimonials on there. To blanket-ban something that has known medical benefits is just evil.

Nicholas Grossman@nicholasgrossman.bsky.social · 6d agoThe Trump admin had a real theory of war: Put on a show of toughness, tell people how manly you are, disdain law, do war crimes, and you win. Earlier losses came from leaders too "weak" to do that. It was a very stupid theory. But they espoused it a lot, really seem to believe it, and acted on it.

This is so telling: according to Jordan (and too many like him) to abuse your partner and/or children doesn’t make a guy a bad man. They’re good men, even with the abuse, because that’s now what defines the boundary between Good and Not Good.

When I worked as a bridal make-up artist, I had a client whose parents were from India. Three day wedding meant 3 different outfits which meant a very long morning doing the test looks. At the end, she invited me to share lunch with her, all homecooked genuine Indian cuisine. Absolutely phenomenal.

Funny seeing The Thomas Crown Affair mentioned when I’ve been listening to Windmills Of Your Mind a lot lately. Also a fantastic movie in the original version. The remake wasn’t bad, but McQueen in the original just gives it a certain je ne sais quoi.

Farmers were outraged at the "gov't overreach & red tape." They went hard for Trump in '24, & he repealed those farm worker regs in June 2025.
