President George Washington met Irish born architect, George Hoban in Charleston, South Carolina, in 1791 and was deeply impressed by his talent Washington summoned Hoban to Philadelphia (then the capital) in 1792, where Hoban officially won the national competition to design the White House

I for one think it’s bad that the president can just say crazy stuff all day every day and 99% of it doesn’t make the news because we’ve normalized having an insane president

He’s obviously removing all anti-trump leaders ahead of a ‘national emergency’ so they can halt elections and seize permanent control.

Hegseth confirms that the US military will cut 20% of its generals and admirals

It's one thing to be so incredibly incompetent as Eric Schmitt that your dramatic "GOTCHA" moment falls apart in real time. It is quite another thing to be so incredibly dishonest as Eric Schmitt that you then go on a right-wing show and pretend it didn't happen. "My job is to ask the questions."😜

This is what the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool looks like today after a $17M deliberate fuck up and the orange felon won’t stop until he destroys everything. Makes me sick to my stomach every day.

At a time when the most influential leaders of the U.S. need to stand up loudly and clearly for the rule of law, they are leading the charge in the opposite direction. But not Jack Smith. Kudos to him for continuing to be a much needed voice of clarity.

Jack Smith: "History teaches that the rule of law is rarely destroyed all at once. It's often weakened by attacks on the institutions and the public servants sworn to uphold it. Since January 2025, we have witnessed precisely such an effort."
