I don’t know if I really need to post this or not but I was getting absolutely no interaction when I would post my art. That was the entire point of this account. So I’m not really sure what to use this app for anymore 🥲
I got laid off today, with the rest of 18F. 18F was an elite federal software shop. We made gov't websites work better, more efficiently for the American people. We saved taxpayers from getting screwed over by contractors. And were fired for it. We made this website to tell our story: 18f.org

Every artist I know is really struggling right now. Financially, emotionally, their confidence, in general. If you like an artist's work, support them any way you can. Buying their stuff or subscribing to their Patreon is great, but words of encouragement are also incredibly helpful.

Here's a Did You Know - that many shelters like mine don't just help animals? We help people in the community by helping them keep their pets, receive care for them, feed them, etc. I don't usually post about those stories bc I'd hate to break anyone's privacy, but that's part of what we do.
If you oppose DEI you should have to use the full phrase, “I oppose diversity, equity and inclusion.” Bonus points if you add your points, “I oppose disabled veterans equal access to employment.” “I oppose mothers having jobs.” Making it an acronym turns it into a thought-terminating cliche.
