Dreigiau o Gymru. Aka Andy Frazer. Illustrator of dragons and dinosaurs. All books available in my Etsy shop. Please DM for commission enquiries. He/him. European/Welsh. No AI. www.andyfrazer.com
Bambiraptor feinbergi. Possibly a valid genus… possibly a juvenile Saurornitholestes. Possibly none of the above. I spent far too long on this one. I hope it was worth it 🫠 If the scientists could avoid reclassifying Bambi before people have seen this, I’d appreciate it. 😉 #SciArt
Is it compulsory to repost beautiful human-made dinosaur art? If it isn’t, it should be. 🦖 #SciArt
One year ago, this painting was exhibited at the Alliance Française of Bologna ! Spinosaurus aegyptiacus Ink and gouache on paper

(10/10) All in all, #DinoConUK was one of the best experiences of my life. The people I met were so lovely and fun to hang around with, the guests delievered interesting talks, and the staff did an amazing job pulling it all together. I loved it! Thank your for reading! #dinoconuk
Thank you to everyone who purchased a copy of the hardback Novosaurs collection at @dinoconuk.bsky.social last weekend. As promised, £5 from each sale has now been donated to Stemettes: a charity supporting women, girls and non-binary people in STEM (Science, technology, engineering (1/2)
It took me about a dozen attempts to record this without swearing. Some of the artists mentioned are minors, with social media access via their parents, and so I wanted it to be safe for them. But yeah, the struggle was real. Someday I might post the expletive-laden outtakes 😂
So, about “that” DinoCon incident… www.instagram.com/reel/DbVtCDm...
Are other #DinoConUk vendors still absolutely exhausted (in the best possible way) or is it just me?

All ready for day two of #DinoConUK @dinoconuk.bsky.social . Day one was amazing, so busy and I met so many kind and interesting people. Can’t wait to see more of you today.
Hey palaeoartists: do you want to attract the attention of the worst (and I mean THE . WORST) people on Facebook? Draw some extinct hominids and watch the racists and young-Earth-creationists (an interestingly circular Venn diagram) come flocking like moths to a flame. Exhausting and nauseating.
A portrait of Homo rudolfensis: an extinct species of archaic human from about 2 million years ago. The classification and validity of rudolfensis remains a matter of debate, with some arguing it may actually have been an Australopithecine, or even synonymous with H.habilis. No AI used, obviously.
Thoughts at SVPOW! on #DinoConUK 2026, and focusing in particular on the amazing Andy Frazer @dragonsofwales.bsky.social (who is there and with a vendor stall once again) .... svpow.com/2026/07/20/a... #paleoart #palaeoart #dinosaurs
Andy Frazer’s Aquilops, and DinoCon 2026
One of the highlights of DinoCon 2025 for me was getting to meet Andy Frazer, who you may know from Dragons of Wales, Novosaurs, and his numerous and mind-blowing life restorations of dinosaurs. We…

This weekend I’ll be at @dinoconuk.bsky.social , table 20 in the vendor hall. I’ll also be displaying some of my work from the past year at the Saturday evening palaeoart exhibition. Hopefully I’ll see some of you there (a tiny number of tickets are still available, I believe). #DinoConUK
I’ve just learned that Dracorex hogwartsia is no longer a valid dinosaur (just a juvenile Pachycephalosaurus). I’m not normally happy to “lose” a dinosaur, but it does mean that at least the stain of Rowling has been expunged from palaeontology. Small victories, etc…
Meta have now started adding this label to almost all of my Instagram posts. I give up. Fuck it.
Handy woman. Portrait of a female Homo habilis - a human ancestor from around 2.4 million years ago. Homo habilis means “handy man” (they were prolific makers of stone tools). This elderly female clutches a stone tool to her chest: a treasured possession, or a reminder of a lost loved one? #SciArt
Congratulations Emily on 15k!, very much well deserved. 🙂 Here’s a few creatures of mine to celebrate. #illustration #creaturedesign #monsters #Traditionalart #artshare #dragons #Pencildrawing

Snack time. T.rex and (what’s left of) a young Triceratops. I’ve just finished this illustration and will be exhibiting it (and hope to have prints) at DinoCon in two week’s time. #SciArt
Shout out to my sciatic nerve for deciding to play up in a heat wave. Well played, body. 😐
I got a print of Spinosaurus aegyptiacus looking for fish, showing off his stylish blue sail. Artwork was done by @dragonsofwales.bsky.social. There is also a second version of him with tail quills! The photo looks so much worse than reality, I had to turn the light just so my camera could see it.
It me! The vendor table layout for @dinoconuk.bsky.social has just been confirmed, and I will be found on table 20. Looking forward to meeting faces old and new on July 25th/26th. Tickets are still available here: dinocon.co.uk/tickets

Just when you think people can’t be more disappointing, my local town council have submitted their bid for UK Town of Culture using an AI generated image. Yes that’s right. A bid for funding to support the arts, using an AI image. (And it’s monolingual too). 😖
