My favorite Ulysses Grant fact is that he was born Hiram Ulysses Grant but hated that his initials spelled "HUG" so he applied to West Point as "Ulysses Hiram Grant" but his sponsor accidentally put "Ulysses S. Grant" and then the Army said "your paperwork says Ulysses S. Grant so that's your name".

Disappointed to hear about Jordan Peterson Nothing has happened to him, I was just disappointed to hear about him this evening

Amazing how often things like this happen. I was once not able to view one box from a WWI soldier's collection because it turned out to contain century-old bullets and the archivists weren't keen on the idea of transporting that from storage across town to the reading room for 3 of us to pass around
