Cubs are making the #STLCards pitching look good this weekend
Joshua Baez’s Triple-A teammates watching him make history in his MLB debut. Beautiful stuff
You can tell Joshua Baez has been waiting a long time for this moment, he’s made the absolute most of it

Fields of Mistria is one of those games that is perfect for Steam Deck. I can play one or two days in a lunch hour then put it on suspend and go about my day feeling like I got something done
Made it to the end of the first season of Fields of Mistria. Nice mental cleanse of a game. Needed it right now more than ever.
My tribute to Masamune Shiro's Ghost in the Shell. (2017)
I say this 100% seriously: I have been waiting my whole life for this moment.
This is remarkable
Am I not watching baseball because my teams are terrible or because only one team seems to care about winning? Why not both
Crusader Kings 3 is a very good game but I wish it was a little better at storytelling, a lot of times things happen to characters like injuries without any explanation like if my child and heir comes home from a play date with a huge gash across their face I want to know exactly what happened
I saw the Odyssey in IMAX, loved it, recommend it to everyone boxd.it/fo6ww7
A ★★★★★ review of The Odyssey (2026)
I can’t believe Nolan did it again. I never thought you could adapt something as huge and sprawling as the Odyssey into a film and make it feel relevant to today but he did both and made it look easy....

The one single advantage theaters still have over home theaters yet they can’t stop, won’t stop fucking it up
Why Aren’t There More Imax 70mm Screens for ‘The Odyssey’? variety.com/2026/film/ne...
Ghost in the Shell anime have always suffered from exposition dumps, the new anime shows a picture of the guy they are talking about, which doesn’t totally fix the problem but it certainly helps
This is the point in Sim City where you’re like well I’m fucked
Cool cool cool cool cool cool cool
Native PS1 & PS2 backward compatibility, CD/DVD/SACD/Blu-ray support and free online gaming
Each time my Delta flight lands they play a wordless acoustic version of Let Down -Radiohead. Weird. Millennials in control I guess
I just added North Mist Studios to this starter pack! Here you can find a lot of game companies with accounts on Bluesky. go.bsky.app/P7EN7fj
Enough with America. I’ve had enough America. I desire no more America
so happy for him. That million dollar prize can actually matter to him
In the context of young people not buying video games this is an attempt to create growth by squeezing every possible dollar from those who remain, which same as the Microsoft moves, looks like what you do when you no longer care about the long term viability, you want to sell your games division.
SONY really said 'we don't care about our fans' Source : www.youtube.com/watch?v=sESf...
Jordan Walker crushes the first pitch he sees from Jacob Misiorowski (a 95.1 mph cutter) for his 21st homer of the season. 105.6 mph EV, 386 feet, gone in all 30 MLB ballparks
I keep buying Steam games because they are on sale knowing full well I have no time to play them unless they are on Steam Deck and even then I only have a little time. I've been out of town basically all summer and i'm going to San Diego next week but here I am buying Crusader Kings 3 DLC wtf
Recently found/bought all the Ghost in the Shell shows at BookOff and I also got these two great steelbook UHDs, Satoshi Kon’s Perfect Blue and George Cosmatos (Kurt Russell’s) Tombstone 📼💿📽️
were up to me I probably wouldn't eliminate physical media for my forthcoming console right on the heels of delisting hundreds of digital movies from people's libraries and while on the cusp of a world historical digital storage supply squeeze, but I guess that's why they get paid the big bucks.
I have trouble believing the casuals will blindly consume what Sony is selling, especially the youth who have no platform loyalty of any kind. I think the most likely outcome for the short term is decline for consoles and more alternatives to that model.
-Sony decides the prices, possibly dynamic pricing -You can't buy codes from third-party vendors anymore -They're killing their old digital stores so you can't buy older, cheaper versions -They just removed like 500-ish movies from people accounts based on licensing
Started rewatching Ghost in the Shell ARISE, in my memory it’s my favorite iteration of the series and the first ova kills it, what a great origin story for Section 9. I love that they turn several themes of Gits (military service, false memories, murder procedural) back on the character of Kusanagi
