Swooping in from an archive of game design and concept docs: Character artwork and sketches from the development of sci-fi dungeon crawler Crime Crackers (1994, PS1) by Masato Kanamono (Kokomahi).
[Classics - Virtual Boy] Version 1.3.0 has been released. This update adds Zero Racers and Dragon Hopper. These titles were originally completed in 1996 but were never released due to the failure of the Virtual Boy. It also adds a feature to change the screen color.
f-for ME!? [high pitched EDM version of happy birthday plays]
i really continue to not understand the aim behind ryubing when they plan these big rewrites of certain areas while they have like. two people total who understand any amount of how the emulator works and otherwise it goes barely maintained. unsustainable
i like how multiple of modern pokemon's anti-leak measures are just "break textures for character models in development builds"
Jez San, founder of Argonaut, donated 2 million pounds to the conservative party in 2025. He was the biggest individual donor in Q1 of that year. Please, be informed before purchasing anything. You can emulate PS1 games on basically any device these days (even your phone) with ease.
The one & only Croc returns! Wishlist it on GOG now: www.gog.com/game/croc_2_...
first splatoon game where they can't easily use the L button as the catch-all debug command root button because it's actually used for gameplay now. i wonder what they switched to since minus was already being used for other debug commands
the documentation about the switch pokemon prototypes is so bad 💔 can't even find basic info about required bootup button combos for specific builds
i would've appended this to our thread if i didn't already know that too many nerds would take personal offense to it / bend over backwards to defend their personal collections lmfao (also, i did wanna keep the bulk of my ire focused on the shambling corpse of Argonaut)
Not every developer / company from your childhood deserves to mount a comeback. You don't need to buy every tchotchke product they dish out in the pitiful hope that it'll lead to them making "something new" (or re-releasing your personal favorite). Sometimes, dead is better.
