I am obsessed with Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon. People have called it an "indie Skyrim" and that's definitely accurate but it's so much more than a knockoff. If you're at all into Bethesda style games try it. This could be Elder Scrolls 6 but for the Xbox 360 graphics

For years there's been this really tacky trend in online pop culture criticism where you must label your thing "my BRUTALLY HONEST review of [movie / tv series / video game / etc]" as if you were otherwise not going to be honest. Is this a legacy of gamergate?

I've lived in rural (and urban-ish) North Louisiana going on 15 years. Mostly deep red, pockets of light blue. I've not seen people organize around any issue like the data centers. They won't beat Amazon's and Meta's money in the short term, but they're ripe for mobilization.

I’ve been screening our documentary with organizing communities in the South. So far, the organizers mention data centers first at every single event. From racial justice orgs to old school activists who don’t usually think about tech policy. This has legs.

Got a google alert about a man in Wales named Andrew McKevitt who didn't show up to his court ordered community service hours after throwing a kettle of boiling water (and missing) at a friend. Concerned this is going to affect my algorithm presence

The defendant was given the initial community order after breaking into the home of his former friend, James McGuigan, before throwing boiling water from a kettle at him, which missed him completely. In an earlier social media post, McKevitt told him to be ready for "five minutes of madness," that he would "bite his fingers," and that he'd "never look the same again".

The thing about the IRS immunity agreement is that you just don't have to respect it. Once he's out of office you can just act like it never happened. In fact there is no reason to respect any agreement this criminal administration makes with anyone

More voters are concerned Paxton "lacks the character to serve as a senator" than think Talarico is too extreme (59% vs. 47%). Twice as many Republicans are concerned about Paxton's character as Democrats are that Talarico is too extreme (36% vs. 17%). /2 www.foxnews.com/politics/fox...
