Whenever I watch the US Men’s soccer team play, I remind myself the US Women’s soccer team have won their World Cup 4 times and remain the most successful team in tournament history.

Here’s what I heard Bhattacharya say: Health disparities research at NIH must be: 1. Solutions oriented (this has been underway at NIH since long before he got here) 2. In scope - can’t inform policy/ policymakers 3. Rigorous (as if it hasn’t been) We haven’t fixed disparities bc NIH got too woke.

New: Researchers have quantified how easy AI search is to manipulate. Just 13 words buried in a random Reddit comment can poison AI search results. They suggest this is not easy to stop: "The way you can attack these systems is so much dumber than you think it is" www.404media.co/it-is-trivia...

It Is Trivially Easy to Use Reddit to Manipulate AI Search, Research Suggests

"We show that a tiny snippet—just 13 words—of retrieved text on a UGC website like Reddit, Wikipedia, Quora, or Facebook can change AI agents to output spam / scam content pretty consistently."

These two former chairs of the Board of Directors of the American Diabetes Association encapsulate well the response of many to the "apology" from the ADA. Who is advising them? They cannot seem to get out of their own way.

GLP1 RAs are not “just a weight loss jab”—I’ve seen my patients able to conceive (PMOS insulin resistance), improve inflammatory acne and rheumatoid arthritis flare ups, and reduce their diabetes or blood pressure meds. Not to mention the reduced risk of cancer development long term!

This article has been removed at the request of the Editor-in-Chief.
Following post-publication concerns raised by readers regarding potential research errors and methodological flaws in this article, the journal initiated an investigation and contacted the author for clarification. The Editor-in-Chief determined that the author's response did not satisfactorily address the concerns raised about this article. In particular, serious methodological flaws were identified in the use of VAERS data to infer a correlation between vaccination and sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). Given the inherent limitations of passive reporting systems, including the expected temporal clustering of events independent of causality, the conclusions presented in the article are not supported by the methodology employed. In light of these concerns, and given the potential implications for medical practice, the Editor-in-Chief has decided that the article should be removed. The author disagrees with this decision and disputes the grounds for removal.
Apologies are offered to the readers of the journal.
