I enjoyed a great talk by Tim Kersjes at #WCRI2026. Researchers should be careful when interpreting papermill "labels" in databases; the papermill classificarion is not sufficiently standardised, and in the age of generative AI the lines between fake and just low quality are increasingly blurred.
