I am *kicking* myself. If you just saw the do owl bears lay eggs? panel, I said something inaccurate. My long covid-addled brain skipped a few steps down my train of thought with the monotreme question. Hoping to catch as many of you as possible with the correction.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and support to us and the Archives of Nethys team! We've worked with them to develop a plan that values the site as a resource, supports our community, and is sustainable for everyone going forward. Read today's statement from both teams: https://bit.ly/4fk7lY9

The image is of the clockwork compass from Pathfinder Society and a vulkarisu technomancer from Starfinder Society floating over a blurred background of pirates bringing a small boat to shore on a beach. Int he top left corner of the image is the "Pathfinder Society" logo, and in the bottom right corner of the logo is the "Starfinder Society" logo.

Things aren't good y'all - early this week my infected hand started going south. Today I saw my doctor and he said its septic. Now I'm in the hospital for round 2 of IV antibiotics, testing, and surgery. So, if you can help keep the beacons lit, I'd appreciate it. www.gofundme.com/f/help-ivis-...

Once again, the Middle Ages were gaudy as fuck. People loved color. And the easiest colors for them to get were bright as fuck, bold, primary yellow (saffron or turmeric), orange (peat) red (madder), blue (woad), and green (lichen). Black was EXPENSIVE and typically reserved for clergy.

okay I am home after spending a week with my parents helping my dad recover from open-heart surgery (he's improving, and everything is good!) So I wanna talk a quick bit about Sprigs & Kindling and our ennie nominations. :)

We're honestly blown away that Sprigs & Kindling has been nominated for two ENNIE Awards.

This has always been a volunteer project. The goal is simple: give new creators a place to learn the ropes of TTRPG publishing—writing, editing, layout, art, proofreading, and everything else that goes into making a book. Breaking into the industry is hard, and we've been lucky enough to watch a bunch of our contributors go on to publish professionally.

Seeing a free community zine recognized alongside so many incredible projects is pretty surreal.

If you like what we're doing and want to support a volunteer-run project that's all about helping new voices, we'd really appreciate your vote.

And whether you vote or not, thanks to everyone who's written, edited, illustrated, laid out, proofread, read, or shared Sprigs & Kindling. This nomination belongs to all of you.
