My unvaccinated brother died of COVID in 2021. I was about a year and a half into my epidemiology career. Healthcare staff did absolutely everything they could but they cannot cure ignorance. They cannot cure an anti-science belief and culture. Thats YOUR responsibility. Not Dr. Fauci’s.
Not to soap box about this but i feel that ppl in the english indie comics space should hear it: creating doujinshi/self published comics without the stamp of a prestigious fair or an indie publisher does not make you any less of a comic artist. drawing comics makes you a comic artist.

I’m so glad I went to the zoo today. This is the highlight of my day. I got to look at this beautiful boy in the eyes & this will be the closest I’ll ever be to a creature like him. This was so cool. 🥲
My front & rear brake pads need to be replaced & resurfacing the rotors but both services are charged separately w/the front being $359, and the rear being $349 🥲💀 fuck dude. Can’t do that today but imma have to see about at least scraping $ together for the front ones at least
Man 🥲 I’m prepping to head to the zoo after my oil change & went to see ticket prices; they’re $25 Not terrible, but when I went more frequently, I remember the tickets being $17/18~ Goddamn dude 💀😭 I’m still gonna go tho. Sometimes Groupon has reduced admission prices for the zoo.

Today we would like to recognize Ken Sample aka Ken Cougar. A Black man who is credited with creating and coining the term "Fursona". While drawing one of his "Exotics" Ken drew a Cougar character that looked strikingly like himself. Attendees of this conference also wanted their own characters!
