its very telling that the mainstream media narrative is that dsa has wacky and unreasonable positions when the republican party position is that abortion should be banned, latino families should be put in concentration camps, black people should be shot by cops and transgender people shouldnt exist

We have two weeks until election day and this campaign has never been better. I've been fighting for hardworking families my entire career. It's time to take that fight to Washington. Join us.

I couldn't be more grateful for the ATU's support. As a union flight attendant, I know the issues transit workers face & I’ll continue to be a champion for them in Washington. Workers need fair wages, safety on the job, good benefits and universal healthcare.

This kind of thing isn’t necessarily bad faith or corruption, but it absolutely should have been disclosed and it’s a bad look for a major candidate for public office to have acted in a way that leaves them open to the charge that they are dishonest.

Exploiting a loophole in the ethics ordinance by resigning as health director & then becoming a contracted consultant. Quelle surprise. waynecountywatch.substack.com/p/el-sayeds-...

Why is the WPBL playing ALL its games in Springfield, Illinois? Even if we accept the historical connection for holding the first game there, why all of them? I’m betting MLB barred access to minor league parks, but even so you’ve got college ball fields all over the place.

I worked at an amusement park. In the evenings we picked up litter in the parking lot. One night I found a lock mechanism that had been pried out of a stolen car. I gave it to the cops. Two weeks later they called with an update on MY stolen car. They’d transposed my name and the victim’s.

It’s so funny when people are like “sure you’re an abolitionist now but wait until you’re the victim of a property crime.” Buddy, the most useful thing the police have ever done for property crime is put the form you need to submit to your insurance online.

They tried to throw an Olympian, who trained and competed for his country, in prison to cover for the wannabe king who destroyed a national treasure with a corrupt deal with one of his cronies. This is why you don’t tell them “welcome home” or vote for their nominees or vote to fund their govt.

So our take is that all the supernatural stuff is PTSD-induced delusion, and that in the big final conversation between Penelope and Odysseus the reference to the Sea Peoples is his way of admitting he and his men have just been marauding for ten years. Thoughts?

The immigrant union troops who defended their adopted country from slaver traitors are in fact, proof of concept of American higher ideals having nothing to do with “blood” or “heritage” or whatever cowardly euphemism is in vogue among these pathetic losers

For decades, Republican elites have clung to the idea that they would be able to control the extremist, far-right popular energies on the base they kept stirring, “harness the magic,” as Lindsay Graham put it in reference to Trump, for their own purposes.

This guy lured investors with a 165-page "essay" linked in the piece. It's absolute balderdash. Unverifiable claims, flawed historical analogies, purple prose. Honestly, getting a humanities education from a liberal arts college was the best decision I ever made. We should make college free.

For years, Situational Awareness was tracked by Wall Street, members of the AI community and its founder’s fiercest followers. Outside those circles, however, the multibillion-dollar hedge fund remained largely unknown. But that was before it began unraveling this week. https://cnn.it/4w5VUZk

New @epi.org data through 2026 Q1: workers are nearly twice as productive as they were in 1979, but their pay hasn't come close to keeping up. That divergence, redistributed to profits and executives, has cost a full-time median-wage worker over $23,000 a year

My name is Ali Daniels. I took the photo of Liam Ramos, and the PAC North Star Dawn is using that photo in paid advertisement to spread lies about Peggy Flanagan. They do not have my consent to use the image, and I am prepared to take legal action if it is not taken down. @angiecraigmn.bsky.social
