This is what it feels like for cyclists using cycle infrastructure in many parts of the UK (certainly in my area - East Dunbartonshire). A short section here, a small bit there. Completely unconnected. Takes you nowhere. Surrounded by roads that feel hostile. This is why more people don't cycle.
